Tottenham agreed to Bayern's offer for Kane, according to media reports

The English forward's transfer fee could be over 100 million euros. If all goes well, Harry Kane is likely to play for Bayern Munich in the 2023-24 season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich have been in talks for weeks about Harry Kane's transfer. Finally, the British and German media reported that the two clubs have reached an agreement about the English forward.

Bayern are trying hard to bring Kane to the team in this summer's transfer window. Before that, the German champions failed with several offers in the media.

Last Thursday came the news of Tottenham agreeing to Bayern's offer. According to media reports, the transfer fee could be over 100 million euros.

Reuters contacted Bayern for comment on the two sides reaching an agreement, but the Bundesliga champions had no comment.

If Kane eventually joins Bayern, he will be the most expensive player in Bundesliga history.

Star striker Robert Lewandowski left Bayern to join Barcelona last summer. Despite winning the 11th consecutive Bundesliga title without him, they had to fight till the last round. In the new season, Bayern are looking to strengthen their attack to challenge in domestic as well as European competition.

Kane has another year left on his contract at Tottenham. He is the highest scorer in the history of the club with 280 goals in 435 matches. He has 213 goals in 320 Premier League matches. He still needs 48 to break Alan Shearer's record for most goals here.

Bayern will open their 2023-24 season with a German Super Cup against Leipzig next Saturday. The first match of Thomas Tuchel's team in the Bundesliga will be on August 18.
