OnePlus has come up with a foldable phone

Oppo's sub-brand OnePlus Mobile has unveiled its first foldable phone, the OnePlus Open. Pre-orders for the phone start at $1,699. On sale from 26th October.


The Open One Plus is the first phone, but it's a sub-brand of Oppo, reports the Verge. Oppo previously launched Find S and Find N2. So we can say it is a third generation foldable phone.



The most interesting feature of the phone is that it has passed the 10 million folding cycle test, which is at least five times more than its major competitors.



According to OnePlus, the hinge of the phone is very durable. Can work for 10 years even with 100 openings per day. The phone gets four years of Android updates and five years of security updates.


The phone is relatively thin. When unfolded, its thickness is only 5.8 millimeters. It weighs 239 grams, folding screen size is 7.82 inches. Resolution 2440 x 2268. The maximum refresh rate is 120 Hz. Brightness 2800 nits. The display size of the case is 6.31 inches.



The operating system used is Oxygen 13.2 based on Android 13. Processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. RAM 16 GB and ROM 512 GB. It has a 4000mAh battery with 805mAh capacity and 68W fast charging. The camera uses a triple Hasselbald lens. The main camera has a resolution of 48 MP, a 68 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
