Sam Altman, the founder of ChatGPT, is joining Microsoft after leaving the post of CEO of OpenAI. He is joining Microsoft to 'lead a new advanced AI research team'. Joining him is former AI co-founder Greg Brockman. Satya Nadella, chairman of Microsoft, made this announcement on social media X on Monday (November 20). This news was published by the American media CNN on Monday.


"We are very excited to announce that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman are joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team," Nadella wrote in his post.



In the post, he also said that Sam Altman will be the CEO of the newly developed AI research team. Microsoft is OpenAI's largest investor.



After Sam Altman was fired as CEO of ChatGPT last Friday (November 17), several other employees resigned from the OpenAI organization in protest. Among them is company co-founder Greg Brockman.


Sam Altman played the most important role in the creation of ChatGPT. The world knows him as the creator of chatgpt.
